Today was a Wednesday and what fun it was to be part of it!  You see its Bible study day, prayer time day and our Focus group day.all rolled into one glorious time.  Now dont get me wrong...Bible time is something I do on a regular basis--its just that on this particular day for two years my friends and I have gathered together and supported each other with Christian values and loving friendship.  It touches my heart to know such lovely ladies!  God smiled on me when they invited me!  We are in a new season of life and being blessed!

I have been visiting my mother the past few days.  We went to her church on Mother s Day Sunday..It was so nice.to be together.
When my husband and I arrived on Friday at Mom s house, we greeted each other and when we settled in our chairs I got a good look at Mom.  She looked frail and thin.  She has lost weight and when I went to her freezer it was empty.  Well, we remedied that!  Jon and I went to the local IGA and bought groceries to fill her shelves and freezer.  I cooked for her and broached  the subject of going to the doctor Mom agreed to make an app.
It is now September and she is doing very well, praise the Lord!  We stayed with my Mom
on our vacation and she had so much energy I felt like I was the Mom and she was the child!
Anyway, we will be going back to Mom's Bed and Board very soon!

I have been out on our deck all day.  Well, not all day.  I did vacuum this morning and walked around the yard planning my garden.  I visited over the fence with a neighbor and she told of her sewing project.  I'm envious.  My experience with those projects are not good.  When our daughter was in high school, she tried to make a stuffed bear.  I tried to help.  The animal came out looking strung out.  Just the other day my daughter put a picture on Facebook of her husband and Anna, our four year old granddaughter.  They were sewing at a machine with the caption "Because I don't know how."  Well, I don't either.  I think I'll leave the lessons to our son in law.

Lily our three year old granddaughter wanted to see my Bible the other day.  She ran her hands over the embroidered flowers on the cover.  We unzipped the jacket and out fell pictures and prayers lists.  Lily exclaimed and asked what each piece was.  " Your Bible is fancy spancy, Nana!"  We giggled.  Something I do alot around our grandchildren.
We have 5 of them.  Yes, five.  Love them all to pieces  And Ive gained 20 pounds with each
one of them!
